Hit by a Flying Wolf- Nicole Wilde ****

Reading books like this one always bring me solace.  Sitting in a quiet place, alone and the occasional thought of “am I insane for treating and thinking of my pets as family members?” “ Does Milo REALLY need a $60 dog bed?” pop into your mind.  To know that I am not the only crazed animal fanatic out there is a HUGE relief!  Books like Hit by a Flying Wolf remind me that I am not alone and my feelings and experiences only mean I have a real, properly functioning, human heart. Nicole’s compassion and willingness to be patient with her rescues is admirable.

Nicole is the type of author that can eloquently and effectively write in a manner that makes you feel as though you are having a one on one conversation with her. You share in her laughter, her tears and ride the roller coaster of emotions as she tells the stories of her personal adventures in wolf and dog rescue. Highly recommend reading this book if you are at all interested in animal rescue, you won’t regret it.
